Monthly Respite Event

Happy Holidays from Kindred Hearts! We will take it easy this month with a holiday afternoon pajama party enjoying a holiday film and activities. We will learn about different holiday traditions and practice taking time to slow down during the busy season, incorporating skills like mindfulness, thankfulness and gratitude.

This monthly event provides FREE respite services to adoptive families for temporary relief to those that care for children with complex mental health issues. Respite provides a break for the whole family, which research shows, is beneficial for everyone involved.
